I hate leaving this review because I've heard that Dr. Mosch is great. However, the customer service is really lacking at this office.

I had a bad experience about five years ago here. I was getting out of active duty military and needed my vaccination report from here to attend college. They made me pay to get my record of MY vaccination proof. They told me I had to pay for an appointment for them to give me my own personal records. Mind you, I was STILL active duty at this point receiving free healthcare and just wanted evidence of past appointments and NO medical care.

Fast forward, to a few months ago. I go here again because I grew up here and I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I went back and forth between the pharmacy and them today because I didn't realize they only put my prescription in for six months. Nobody informed me it hadn't been filled after the request so I was left to act as the go between with the pharmacy with no idea what was going on. I was told I had a refill left and Publix said no. There were multiple calls back and forth that I facilitated trying to figure it out. The last time, they didn't answer and I left a message. I received a call back maybe 6 hours later. I want to say she was having a bad day but she was incredibly mean. She explained I had to go again because they "didn't know me." I explained that check- ups are once a year and she got rather aggressive. She was borderline bullying me. I'm not going to lie, I hate going to the doctor, and she made the experience even worse. I get it if you're having a bad day, but you're in control of how you treat others. Don't drag us down with you. Customer service might not be the best career field for some people in this office.

Entire experience was unprofessional. I was looking for a pcp to develop a relationship with - knowing my medical and lifestyle history in order to give context for current possible situations. Dr. Mischief proved himself to be uninterested in that. Maybe he was having a bad day or going through some painful personal life experience of his own, but either way he did not extend true care for me. As I sat there attempting to explain to him two issues I was experiencing he told me that “he had enough on his plate already” and walked off without hearing me out. So when his assistant came with blood work he didn’t have all the tests I wanted it to include and I sent him back out to fix it with Mosch. I could overhear Mosch through the wall tell the assistant “well he’s going to have to wait!” Honestly it was hard to believe what was happening.

Fast forward to test results coming in. I got them digitally and looked them over. My LDL levels were elevated in the red but my total cholesterol was still in the green (although elevated). This man Dr. Mosch has his office call me and say “my results are completely normal”. Sure I’m not a doctor to interpret my own results perfectly but it doesn’t take a genius to figure out that elevated LDL levels pose a heart risk. He didn’t even have the nerve to explain why he thought my results were normal. He’s a character for sure. This, in my opinion, was borderline negligent and I hope he doesn’t put other people in danger.

Dr Mosch is a great doctor and I have been coming to him for years. Unfortunately his staff fails with customer service and helping the patients get appointments setup. when bothered they have an attitude and don’t want to work with me to help me set up my appointment. I was told they don’t accept my insurance so I called my insurance to check and I told that they do accept his office, I even had my insurance company reach out to them but the office staff told them they don’t want to accept the insurance because it’s tier 2 and even though they can’t take them they don’t want to accept it. Its absurd that they can take my insurance but the office staff is lazy and frankly does not want to deal with it. What’s more frustrating is I made an appointment two weeks ago and was told my insurance was fine but they called me the day before my appointment to tell me they cancelled. I have been going to Mosch for over 10 years but the staff he has working is making him lose patients that actually want to see him.

I this place nickel and dime’s you to death. Every other doctors office that I have ever been to during the wellness visit they will provide you with one years worth of medication. Not this doctors office is office will provide you services, but for vastly overinflated fees. You could get blood work done at their office, but you will be paying more for the “convenience.” I would stay far far away from this doctors office.

Their waiting room even shows their lack of care. They do not care about their patients.

The staff is courteous and I can usually get an appointment quickly. Dr. Mosch is an excellent physician- he listens and takes all your concerns seriously. I have been treated by another physician in that office and they also have great bedside manner. Dr. Mosch caught a very serious issue at one of my yearly physicals. Since then I have undergone surgery and am very grateful that I listened to his advice.

We had been using Dr Mosch as our primary for almost 25 years I think...even my kids as they got to high school.  I like Dr. Mosch personally.  He has a good demeanor and is very personable.  And is pretty effective as a Family Doctor goes.  If I didn't have to deal with anyone else in his office, I'd likely still see him.  But as other reviewers have noted, his office including billing are the issues.  And to a large extent that reflects on him, too.

They don't manage either time, people or billing very well.  And they are rude depending on what the issue is, ie, if you don't have any, you won't notice....except for the wait times.  It is possibly one of the worst doctor's offices I've ever experienced....and I have 4 kids, dentists, eye doctors, dermatologist offices and other specialists offices to compare with.

We stopped seeing Dr. Mosch over 6 years ago though because of long wait times and rude impersonal dealings with the office staff.

Due to having such a long history and familiarity- I decided to give them another chance. I was sick- we had just gotten over COVID so weren't sure why a month later we were feeling poorly. So I made an appt on a Friday for following Tuesday since we couldn't get one sooner. I just received the bill for canceling the appointment which I did before 0800 that day since I knew unequivocally we were not sick afterall. But I offered to come in to do a regular checkup now that I was better since i was due one anyway and that was my original plan before I got sick. They said they couldn't do that since they are separate types of appointments so the appt was canceled. So I Said I'd call back to make a different appt for checkups.

When I spoke with billing I asked her was I really supposed to go in and see the Dr if I was NOT sick  And she said Yes.  I Said that doesn't even make sense if we are feeling better to use our insurance, use up everyone's time, take the slot of another sick person who might be in need, etc just to say "Hey I'm better." - especially since I wanted a proper checkup appt. She insisted that was their policy and would not budge. So I asked if she could have Dr. Mosch call me directly- afterall it is his business and they were willing to charge me $150 for an appt to see him even if I was better and charged me $25 for not coming in at all. She said he doesn't discuss billing with his patients. That's when she referred to me to the Office Manager who wasn't in so I left a message. She never called me back. Not surprised at all.

Firstly, ALL business owners of small businesses I know and have used are willing to deal directly with customers if necessary and requested. This is a first. And does not reflect well on Dr. Mosch IMO that his staff won't even ask him to call me yet will charge me $25 for no services at all. I think the cancelation fee is worth a 5 minute call at a minimum. This is poor customer service and just like many other unfavorable reviews here seems to be a pattern.

Bottom Line:  as a long time patient who Dr Mosch has known for awhile now, I think I have established that I'm not frivolous with people's time or money or my health. We have great insurance and have ALWAYS paid our bills on time.   And I have ALWAYS been Early for appointments we scheduled.  The fact that I often waited in a packed waiting area means they aren't hurting for patients either.  And clearly did not care enough to reimburse me for that lost time either.  So I'm stumped that these factors are not taken into consideration when resolving a $25 charge...considering all the times my time wasn't valued but I let that go for YEARS- even the greedy banks and credit card companies do that much.  They just traded a $25 cancelation fee for HUNDREDS of DOLLARS for regular checkups.  And a regular patient.  Not the way to run Any business.
Update- 12/10/2022: recieved my $25 check back -so I'm changing my Review from a 1 to a 3 since they did follow up and listen to my issues. I want small local businesses to succeed.

The providers at this practice are decent. The front office staff could use a lot of customer service training. Most of the people who work here look like they don’t want to be there. One particular employee is just plain rude to patients. Listened to her tell a patient she should have set a calendar reminder in her phone when the patient asked why she didn’t receive an appointment reminder. Nothing is bright or modern. Processes are archaic. No one has any enthusiasm and the office has a weird musky smell.

Dr Mosch is one of the best doctors I have ever seen. I was involved in a very bad accident and he nailed what was wrong with me. He was there for every issue and surgery afterwards. I saw him for many years but now I have moved to Tennessee and miss his expert experience. Lastly he cared about what was going on in your life and would listen to what you had to say. So in my books the best doctor I have ever seen.
