I initially started going to this office because it was the same Dr my father used, and it seemed easier. I have been unhappy with the experience every time I have had an appointment, but I thought it would be once or twice a year and I could deal with it. Nope...every single prescription I need requires me to make an appointment. I work and attend school full-time and can only get an Epi-Pen refill or other meds if I come into the office. Then, after rearranging my schedule and missing two classes, my appointment was somehow canceled. I have ASD, but I am high functioning; sometimes, I need an extra second to get my words together on the phone; the person who handles the phone is frequently abrupt and just can't be bothered to deal with me and will practically hang up while I am mid-sentence. I am going to a different doctor. Let's hope I don't get stung by a bee and run into anyone who has eaten shellfish in the meantime.

Responds to bad reviews with lies about the patient. And refused to refill very important medications for my son because they did not like his review. I would go somewhere else.

I love this office! They have done wonderful with me, my grandma and my aunt. And where I love them all, my major shout out goes to Karen. This has been a scary year for my health and she has been very thorough in my care and has held my hand the whole time. She has gone extra miles for me and I know she truly cares about me as a patient and as a person.

This office is incredible. They have cared for me, my wife, and our kids for years now and are professional, knowledgeable, and kind. I love this office, the office staff/admin, and the medical staff. You can rely on Dr. Pinkal Patel and his wonderful team for medical care for the whole family!

Dr Patel and his staff are the greatest. Very caring and compassionate. They take very good care of me and my husband. I think they are #1. From the office staff to the doctors and nurses, can't thank them enough for being there for us. God bless all of you.

I have been going to Dr. Patel for 4 years. Last time I was in the office I was treated so poorly and talked down to by a very immature staff member. I canceled upcoming appointment on the patient portal and stated why I canceled. I received a phone call about a week later from a staff member, NOT apologizing for how horrible I was treated but to tell me to fill out a form to release my records. The office told me Dr. Patel was aware but apparently did not care to respond to me himself or to apologize to me for how unprofessional I was treated. Maybe try treating your patients like they are human beings!!!
Your response was COMPLETELY false!!! Yes I saw your signs but I did NOT have ANY covid symptoms!!! I was not asked to get tested but rather demanded while rolling her eyes, yelling, throwing up her hands, having a melt down!!! She did not listen to a word I said, but kept freaking out that I wasn't vaccinated yet. Getting tested was NOT an inconvenience and I would NOT have a problem with it IF I had symptoms but I did NOT have any listed on your signs. I was told to get tested if symptoms got worse which they did NOT. So before you respond GET YOU FACTS CORRECT!!! Maybe talk to your patient before saying I am having a tantrum when clearly your precious staff member did!!! You were not there! Stop jumping to all these conclusions when you NEVER spoke with me!!! Now you are being extremely unprofessional!!!

Make no mistake: Patel only cares about his practice and not the actual patient. He is one of the most unprofessional general practitioners I've ever had the displeasure of working with. If you are looking for a doctor in Oviedo, I highly encourage you to look elsewhere. There are many GPs just down the road from his office that offer professional service with an interest in caring for the actual patient.
